Gefeliciteerd, Roswell!

I thought it was avant, but now (with maturity and the grace of wisdom in age) I have come to realize that if anything, it was at least interesting, which is far more than I can say for most of the music that is coming down the pipe these days." Terwijl wij hier op de redactie 'Everywhere' in de cd-lade schuiven - Rudds klassieker voor het Impulse-label uit 1966, waarop hij kundig wordt begeleid door Robin Kenyatta (as), Giuseppi Logan (fl, bcl), Lewis Worrell (b), Charlie Haden (b) en Beaver Harris (d) - kunt u het interview lezen, dat Jung met Rudd had in februari 2004. Ze spraken onder meer over zijn samenwerking met Steve Lacy, het New York Art Quartet en zijn nieuwe cd 'Broad Strokes' op Knitting Factory.
